Actor Pepe Serna’s memoir of his remarkable life journey from his humble beginnings in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the studio soundstages of Hollywood. Read about the “behind the scenes” making of such film classics as Scarface, American Me, Carwash, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, and more. Pepe reveals fascinating insights into the acting profession and working with co-stars Al Pacino, Johnny Depp, Jennifer Lopez, and Kevin Costner.
The popular supporting character actor has participated in films under the direction of such illustrious filmmakers as Brian De Palma, Luis Valdez, Alexander Payne, Larry Kasdan, Eva Longoria, Dalton Trumbo, and Hal Wallis. The memoir is illustrated with over 100 photos from Serna’s archives along with full-color reproductions of Serna’s sought-after world-renowned artwork. Introduction by a friend, fellow actor, and frequent co-star Edward James Olmos.
