Multi-platinum recording artist and global bachata idol Prince Royce celebrates the release of his highly anticipated eighth studio album, ETERNO, taking fans on a nostalgic journey reimagining classic pop hits – available now on all digital music platforms and in physical stores.
A bold new chapter in his career, ETERNO is a conceptual album that reimagines legendary English-language pop songs with Royce’s signature bachata rhythm, contemporary arrangements, and touches of Spanglish—all delivered with the smooth, heartfelt vocals that have defined his global success.
“This album is about honoring beloved classic hits, but doing it in a way that feels current and true to my roots. I wanted to give these songs a new life in bachata, in both English and Spanish,” expressed Royce.
The 15x Latin GRAMMY nominee’s new focus “I Want It That Way” reimagines The Backstreet Boys’ fan-favorite.
Produced by Royce and longtime collaborator D’Lesly “Dice” Lora, the album features 13 tracks that blend nostalgia with innovation. ETERNO offers a unique fusion of past and present, echoing the spirit of Royce’s 2010 breakthrough hit “Stand By Me”—a bilingual cover that introduced him to the world and helped shape the modern bachata movement.
The first offering from the album, “How Deep Is Your Love” debuted in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Tropical Songs chart and Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart in the US as well as Top 10 in Chile and the Dominican Republic.
The album features interpolations of tracks from: Air Supply, Backstreet Boys, Bee Gees, Elvis Presley, Fleetwood Mac, King Harvest, Lionel Richie, Luther Vandross, Richard Marx, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, and The Temptations (listed in alphabetical order).
During the Premios Lo Nuestro awards broadcast earlier this year, the multi-platinum award-winning talent teased fans with a 3-song medley of his bachata rendition multi-generationally adored songs “My Girl,” his new single “How Deep Is Your Love,” alongside “Dancing in the Moonlight” – his bachata renditions of tracks originally released from The Temptations, Bee Gees, and King Harvest.
