“Canciones que nos recuerdan que aún en tiempos de incertidumbre y muerte, la esperanza y la vida siempre se siguen preservando.” – Mare Advertencia Lirika
Mare Advertencia Lirika guides our attention to current topics of concern, using hip-hop and her artistry as a lyricist, to educate, inform and inspire. On this fifth day of March, we celebrate this Oaxaqueña’s work and all she does for the community at large.
We are definitely digging these fresh edits. The song transformations along with the stunning visuals are absolutely divine and so powerful. Así se hace.
Mare explains more about her new release, “The EP SiempreViva recovers part of the lyrics that Mare Advertencia released in its original version in 2016, but with fresh beats, original samples, and a sound that brings these discussions to the present […] Songs that remind us that even in times of uncertainty and death, hope and life are always preserved.”
You know anything that Ali Gua Gua is involved in, we’re in. “Ay Ke Cumbión” includes Mare, Ali, and Son Rompe Pera.
This performance is so badass. Mare does a cover of the Chalino Sanchez favorite, “Nieves de enero.” (By the way have you heard the new podcast about Chalina, Idolo? Thoughts?)
This set is from the Festival Suoni Per Il Popolo. She’s joined by Diana Gaby on tuba and Paty Marlen on acordeón.
