Ruido Fest presented Enjambre on a rainy Tuesday night at one of Chicago’s coolest rock venues, The Bottom Lounge. This all-ages show quickly filled the main room with fans that were lined up outside. Chicago is the band’s third stop on their 10-city US tour which included New York and Washington, D.C.
Opening for them was the Chicago band, Old Coke. The band warmed up the crowd with tracks from their debut album, “Sorted” which include their singles, “Bottle” and “Slope.” The trio was formed in 2019 by frontman Christopher Ruiz and is quickly taking shape in the Chicago music scene.
Enjambre then took the stage to cheers and clapping from a packed house. The dim lighting and calm silence that followed paved the pace for an intimate show. The band played all of their hit songs from “Argentum,” “Divergencia,” “Relampago,” “Siempre Tu” and many more. Lead singer, Luis Humberto Navajas, had the crowd singing along with him as he extended the mic stand over the audience. Enjambre came out to electrify and they did not disappoint.
They continue their US tour to cities like Denver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and a few others. Enjambre will also be part of this years Vive Latino 2023 music festival which takes place in Mexico City on March 18th and 19th.
