El Sebas is Mexican rapper, artist, & cultural curator whose music is influenced by his culture & experiences. He forms half of the urban Latin Hip Hop duo ‘Browns Crew’. His creative process encompasses writing through a journalistic lens that affirms his own realities & those of his community members. El Sebas’ music draws attention to prevalent issues and aims to spread joy through his creative sound.
He raps in English & Spanish, incorporates clever wordplay & thought-provoking content, & infuses Latin sounds into his performances & recordings. In 2019, Browns Crew was named a winner at Summerfest’s Emerging Artist Series, were awarded Radio Milwaukee 88Nine’s Song of the Year for “Mil Aires”, & were awarded the Nō Studios Artist Grant in 2021-2022.
