Olvido, is a solo exhibition by 2023-24 BOLT Resident Salvador Andrade Arévalo. This exhibition is a culmination of Salvador’s year-long BOLT residency. It will include mixed media installations and oil painting.

About Salvador Andrade Arévalo
Salvador Andrade Arévalo was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and raised in the Chicagoland area. He is a trained printmaker that works primarily in painting, drawing, and installation.
He received both his BA and MFA from Yale University in Painting & Printmaking. He also holds an MPhil in Latin American Studies from the University of Cambridge, with a thesis on 19th century Mexican lithography. He has held residencies and fellowships with Fulbright (Mexico City), SOMA Summer, Yale University Art Gallery, Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library, Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art, Chicago Artists Coalition (BOLT), and Spudnik Press.
His artwork is included in the permanent collections of the Willis Tower and the National Museum of Mexican Art . Currently, he is working on public art projects with JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYC) and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.
