“Remembering our friends, colleagues, and family members who are no longer with us, I curated a live setlist with songs about death. Blues, boleros, cumbias, new compositions, and original arrangements on some of my favorite death songs. I have included in our set, songs that I wrote with past bandmates who are no longer here, LA MATA. This performance also celebrates one more year around the sun.”
