It is the first Monday of 2022 and here we are, reviewing the past year and all the wonderful (and awful) moments. Reminiscing about music and writing is one of the greatest things to do for mental stimulation and we went way back to listen to some of the first bands we ever covered through Enchúfate and the television shows that came before it – Errores No Eliminados and E>N>E: Chicago Rocks. From Ely Guerra to Federico Aubele, the number of artists we connected with, and not just withing Latine music, is astonishing. We are grateful.
In 2022 we are spreading our wings a little and covering shows outside of Chicago, as we used to when it all began.
Jose Calvo will be capturing all those glorious moments on camera, while our writers attempt to convey the joy and impact of it all.
