Francisca Valenzuela, one of the most successful Chilean singer-songwriters in recent years, today releases her long-awaited new album “Vida tan Bonita“, featuring the singles “Castillo de Cristal“, “Último Baile“, “Salú” and “Hola Impostora“.
Eleven songs written and composed by the artist give life to this new album, the second under her new label, Sony Music, after the award-winning release, “La Fortaleza” (2020). “Vida tan Bonita” was produced by multi-Grammy award-winning Argentine producer Sebastián Krys and the also award-winning producer Ali Stone.
“Vida tan bonita” is a confessional album, full of sincere songs that struggle to find the bright, true, beautiful and deep, in a world that sometimes feels dark, uncertain and difficult. It is an invitation to live every moment, to surrender deeply to life, which many times we feel is slipping through our fingers. It is an album full of longing, pandemic and contingent – both in the most personal and individual issues and in the most social ones. In the midst of the pandemic and for my own sanity, I wanted to create something honest that resonated with today, but also had hope, joy and beauty for tomorrow” – commented Francisca Valenzuela about her new project.
“Se Va”, “Último Baile“, “Salú“, “Detener el Tiempo“, “Hola Impostora“, “Vida tan Bonita“, “Mundos Separados“, “Despierto“, “Castillo de Cristal“, “Dar y Dar” and “Como la Flor” form “Vida tan Bonita“, an album created during the pandemic, where the female artist explores personal and social concerns through pop melodies and confessional lyrics.
“Dar y Dar” is the latest single to accompany this new album’s release. The song has an infectious rhythm that flirts with psychedelia, the fusion of diverse musical styles of the 70’s and 80’s, with a strong influence of the Italian Rafaella Carrá along with an infectious chorus.
