Jaime Garza, who leads the band Almafuerte, says their next performance at Hungry Brain is a great opportunity to experience the soulful songs rooted in music traditions he’s been exploring for some time. Almafuerte embodies Latin and Afro-Latin sounds with Latin jazz, boleros and cumbias.
For their March 16 concert, Garza will be joined by Brenden Cabrera on keys, Peter “Maestro” Vale on congas, Victor M. Montañez on turntables, Armando Perez on electric guitar and very special guest Raul Fernandez on Drums.
