Tijuana band Policías y Ladrones are back with a new single titled “más tiempo” which serves as a sample of the band’s forthcoming new material, featuring their sound which combines indie pop, shoegaze, and dream-pop.
In “más tiempo” the chords and guitar lines follow the relaxed and melancholic style of their previous album, Nubes (2021). This time, the composition also has a central focus. Alonzo Ackerman welcomes you with nostalgic whispers, vocalizing the words, “If you want I can wait for you, you don’t have to say it” while guitars embrace you within a dreamy world.
Since their debut album Flores (2016), Policías y Ladrones has remained one of the favorite indie bands of both critics and the public with almost 10M plays on combined platforms, and with support by Ibero 90.9 FM, Indie Rocks!, Rolling Stone and more.
