The Arts & Culture Unit of the Chicago Park District is pleased to announce its second season of the Anchor Curatorial Residency. This community-based curatorial project will begin this Summer at Marquette Park Cultural Center, nestled between the Southwest side neighborhoods of Chicago Lawn and West Lawn. The program culminates in a collaborative exhibition and program series in Fall of 2024.
To guide this process, we are seeking a talented and thoughtful curator (or programmer) with at least 3 years of professional curation/programming/project management experience. Spanish speakers and youth-focused culture workers with curation chops are strongly encouraged to apply! This opportunity comes with a $20K stipend, a generous budget for artists and materials, and is only available to current residents of the City of Chicago.
